Interactive Frog Dissection
: This online tutorial was designed to teach frog dissection in high
school biology classrooms. Useful in preparation for laboratory dissection,
or even as a replacement for it, the site contains clickable image maps
and Quicktime movies.
The purpose of this lab activity is to help you learn the anatomy of a
frog and give you a better understanding of the anatomy of vertebrate animals
in general, including humans.
After completing this dissection, you should be able to: Correctly identify the locations involved in the dissection procedures, and Correctly identify the locations of the major organs within the body cavity of a frog, given a list of these organs.
