摘要

生物細胞膜上有一群調控離子進出的通道蛋白質,其作用機制受到膜電位變化的影 響。本篇作者利用X-ray結晶繞射學的方法解出解析度為2.8A的鉀離子通道βsubunit結構,進一步探討該次單元的4轉軸對稱性和αsubunit結合間的關係、反應活化區域對NADPH的氧化還原特性、對其他相似酵素的結構異同以及對整個通道 開關的調節途徑。
