Original
12 multispectral data sets used in “Statistics of cone responses to natural
images: implications for visual coding” (J.
Opt. Soc. Am. A 15:2036-2045, 1998)
Note
1: Since these are binary files, a MATLAB script (called ShowMulticamRGB)
is provided for visualizing the images.
Note
2: Use the white and black standards at the corner of each image to compute the
reflectance spectrum of each pixel in the image. Setting the average black
standard somewhere near 0 (e.g., 10) and the average white standard somewhere
below 255 (e.g., 225) to avoid negative number and saturation, respectively.
