How to use the Protein Explorer

Loading a Molecule

If you have never used the Explorer before, just push the button [Protein:DNA] (gray button just above step #3 in the Explorer), and a sample molecule will be loaded. This molecule is 1d66.pdb which is used in the tutorial below.

After you have tried out the Protein Explorer with the Protein:DNA example 1d66, you'll want to load and explore a molecule of your choice. For instructions on how to do this, press the [?] button next to the word "Load" in the right frame of the Explorer.

Using the Mouse

Use the mouse to rotate, zoom, and translate the molecule.
