DR-70 Cancer Marker program

The DR-70 is an antigen that target the proteinase cathepsin B, which is one kind of fibrinogen degradation protein (FDP) as plasiminogen activator that were normally secreted by tumor cell for fibrinose lysis. The general structure of cathepsin B is found at PDB protein database:

They provide all stable and ready-to-use reagents for this ELISA format convenient.

The DR-70 test procedure.

The DR-70 Reactions.

From their publish, the Journal of Immunoassay, 19(1), 63-72 (1998), this procedure has specificity more than 95% and sensitivity up to 83.8%.

Drug limitation

From the information in the booklet as their publication, they have said that some of the reagents contain human blood components that may transmit infection and no known test method can offer complete assurance for not being so.

Still there were many warnings in this booklet that may be the limitation of this drug, and most of which were about the treatment of the reagents.
