showbox
Elaine Meng
showbox is an interactive program that allows visualization of the
location and size of the grids that will be calculated by the program
chemgrid, using any graphics program that can display PDB format. The
user is asked whether the box should be automatically constructed to enclose
all of the spheres in a cluster. If so, the user must also enter a value for
how closely the box faces may approach a sphere center (how large a "cushion"
of space is desired) and the sphere cluster filename and number. If not, the
user is asked whether the box will be centered on manually entered coordinates
or a sphere cluster center of mass. Depending on the response, the coordinates
of the center or the sphere cluster filename and number are requested.
Finally, the user must enter the desired box dimensions (if not automatic) and
a name for the output PDB-format box file.
